In a significant victory for security forces, two notorious Naxalites have surrendered in Balaghat district, Madhya Pradesh. Deepak and Rohit, who had rewards amounting to Rs 43 lakh, turned themselves in at the CRPF camp in Korka.
Their surrender is viewed as a major success, resulting from relentless pressure and strategic operations conducted by the CRPF and local police forces. The development is expected to weaken the Naxalite network in the region.
Superintendent of Police Aditya Mishra confirmed that with Deepak and Rohit's surrender, the district is free of hardcore Naxalites, marking a strategic win for law enforcement agencies.
