The Delhi Police have successfully dismantled a notorious phone theft syndicate, arresting four members and recovering 40 smartphones, an official reported Thursday.

The syndicate, allegedly led by Salman, wrapped stolen iPhones in aluminum foil to block tracking, promptly selling them in Ghaziabad's grey market. This cunning strategy involved targeting busy public venues such as concerts and transport hubs.

A tip-off led police to intercept a grey car near Yamuna Vihar Metro Station, apprehending Salman, Imran, Shahrukh, and Wasim, all from Ghaziabad. The syndicate has been linked to multiple thefts, including those at an AP Dhillon concert and various city districts; further investigations are ongoing to uncover more connections.
