Punjab Police Cracks Foreign-Linked Drug Supply Network
The Punjab Police has dismantled a drug supply operation funded by foreign entities, arresting four individuals and seizing heroin, a weapon, and cash. The arrests include Yuvraj Singh and Varinder Singh, associates of foreign handler Baba Lakha, and further investigations are underway.

The Punjab Police announced a breakthrough on Sunday, having dismantled a drug supply module with ties to foreign-based smugglers. This was achieved following the arrest of four individuals in possession of drugs and a weapon.
The Counter Intelligence (CI) wing of the Amritsar Police made significant seizures, including 4 kg of heroin, a pistol with five cartridges, and Rs 3.90 lakh in cash, according to Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav.
Following a coordinated effort, Yuvraj Singh, Varinder Singh, Jagroop Singh, and Jugraj Singh from Amritsar were detained. This operation comes amid intensified efforts to curb drug trafficking in the region. Further investigations into the intricate network are ongoing.
