A KSRTC bus driver was tragically found dead near Palakkad after abandoning his route over a health-related concern, authorities reported on Sunday.

Babu, 45, from Chathamangalam, encountered distress while driving from Ernakulam to Palakkad, prompting him to stop and leave the bus at the Paliyekkara toll plaza.

Despite efforts from the conductor and passengers to follow him, Babu could not be located immediately. The subsequent search revealed his body hanging from a tree near a bridge, raising questions that are now under police investigation.
