Vijay Diwas: Honoring India's Bravehearts

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh led the nation in saluting the bravehearts on 'Vijay Diwas', expressing pride and gratitude for the Indian Armed Forces' decisive victory in the 1971 war.

Top military leaders, including Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh and the chiefs of all three services, paid homage at the National War Memorial, highlighting their unwavering spirit and sacrifice.

President Droupadi Murmu also paid tribute, inaugurating the Param Vir Dirgha to educate citizens on the valor of national heroes, underscoring the Armed Forces' self-reliance and strategic readiness.
