The state vigilance department, alongside other officials, will carry out the probe, officials announced on Tuesday.

Suspended BRS MLC and Telangana Jagruthi president K Kavitha has claimed credit for instigating the investigation, stating that the issue was raised during her visit to Medchal district and subsequently highlighted in the media. She appreciates the government's response and insists on a swift and thorough examination to reclaim the lands for public ownership.
