Militant Captured in Arunachal Pradesh: NSCN-IM Member Nabbed

In Arunachal Pradesh's Tirap district, a significant arrest was made as security forces detained a militant associated with the NSCN-IM faction, authorities reported on Wednesday.
After receiving intelligence, a coordinated effort by Assam Rifles and state police led to the capture of Chopsai Pansa, a self-proclaimed captain, on Monday, detailed Superintendent of Police Aditya.
Pansa, 56, was known for his involvement in extortion and attempts to disrupt the electoral process in the region. Post-arrest, Assam Rifles handed him over to Tirap Police for further proceedings, ensuring legal action follows, Aditya further informed.
