A drug trafficking syndicate using a toy-packing business as cover has been dismantled with the arrest of three individuals, including the alleged kingpin in Delhi. Police stated that the syndicate trafficked over 5,000 kg of cannabis from Odisha to Delhi in the past year.

The operation culminated after police received a tip-off on December 24, when they learned of a cannabis consignment in Mangol Puri. A raid led to the arrest of two men, Sonu and Ajeet, along with the seizure of over 47 kg of cannabis disguised as cashew nuts.

Further investigation identified Pappu Suar as the supplier based in Odisha. Subsequent raids in Delhi and Odisha uncovered more cannabis, amounting the total seizure to over 165 kg, and resulted in the arrest of Suar, dismantling the syndicate's operations.
