In a significant breakthrough for law enforcement, Delhi Police apprehended two bike-borne shooters allegedly associated with the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang, known for recent shootings in the national capital.
The suspects, identified as Deepak and a minor, were involved in two separate firing incidents earlier this week. The arrest followed a tip-off received by the anti-narcotics team in north Delhi. An attempt to intercept the suspects near Hiranki Mor led to an exchange of gunfire, leaving Deepak injured and his accomplice captured.
Further investigation revealed ties to foreign handlers, with financial transactions linked to the shootings. While law enforcement officers emerged unscathed, the incident underscores continuing gang violence challenges in the region.
