Chalavadi Narayanaswamy, Leader of the Opposition in the Karnataka Legislative Council, has called on the Election Commission of India (ECI) to conduct a Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Bengaluru's electoral rolls.
Narayanaswamy raised alarm over fraudulent entries that could compromise electoral integrity ahead of Greater Bengaluru Authority elections.
He also flagged potential national security threats concerning train services between West Bengal and Bengaluru in a representation to Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
