Delhi Police have successfully foiled a kidnapping plot, rescuing a five-year-old boy and arresting two individuals involved in the crime. The accused, Ranjeet Shah and a woman identified as Kajal, had allegedly conspired to sell the child in Kolkata.
The police investigation revealed that Asad, the young child, was taken from his home in Shakurpur, northwest Delhi, and efforts were made to sell him. The accused traveled through multiple states before being apprehended thanks to coordinated police work and strategic use of technology.
This successful operation was a testament to the effective use of CCTV footage analysis, technical surveillance, and interstate coordination among Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and West Bengal police forces.
