In Ranchi, a land dispute turned violent when four individuals were arrested after a clash erupted involving gunfire, leaving three people injured. The incident occurred on Saturday night near Piska More, over the division of Rs 55 lakh from a land deal.
Ranchi SP (City) Paras Rana confirmed the arrests and reported that among the injured were two brothers, Akash Singh and Vikash Singh, from one group, with another person wounded from the opposing faction. The authorities are continuing their investigation into the event.
Initially, 10 people were detained in connection to the altercation, but further developments led to the arrest of four individuals. Rana noted that gunshots were fired from both groups, marking a severe escalation from the financial disagreement.
