A gruesome murder has surfaced in which a 33-year-old woman, Preeti Ahirwar, was reportedly killed by her live-in partner, Ram Singh Parihar, a retired railway employee. The crime was exposed due to a vigilant loader driver. Parihar allegedly used an axe for the murder and attempted to burn the body to eliminate evidence.
Police have taken into custody Parihar, his second wife Geeta, and his son Nitin, accusing them of assisting in concealing the crime. Parihar lived with Preeti for 10 years, despite being married. The crime roots back to monetary disputes and suspicions of infidelity, police revealed.
Parihar confessed to the murder during police interrogation, admitting to having killed Preeti in a drunken rage. Post-murder efforts to dispose of the body failed when a suspicious driver intervened. The case has been registered under various sections, with all accused facing imprisonment. DNA tests are underway to confirm the victim's identity.
