Tragic Turn at Teharvee: A Family Mourns Amidst Violence

A 25-year-old man was tragically stabbed to death during his father's teharvee ceremony in Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh, according to local authorities.

Four additional family members sustained injuries while attempting to intervene in the attack. The incident unfolded when Vikas, the deceased's son, got into an argument with villagers at the ceremony.

Following the altercation, Vikas was assaulted with knives later that evening. Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries en route to the hospital. Authorities have yet to receive a complaint from the family, but have increased security in the village as investigations continue.
