The Delhi High Court issued an interim order on Tuesday, preventing unidentified individuals from using the images and identity of Senior Advocate Vikas Pahwa to deceive the public.

Justice Jyoti Singh directed the removal of Pahwa's images from various online platforms following a complaint that an unknown person was impersonating him on WhatsApp. The impersonator allegedly used Pahwa's photo as a display picture, fabricating articles to craft fraudulent investment schemes.

Pahwa's lawsuit claimed the impersonator was running multiple WhatsApp groups and mobile applications, misleading users by misusing his name and reputation. The misuse gravely threatened public interest and damaged Pahwa's professional standing, prompting the court to issue protective measures.
