In a tense turn of events, Kairav Gandhi, 24, the son of prominent industrialist Devang Gandhi, was safely rescued in the early hours of Tuesday after being abducted on January 13 while en route to Adityapur industrial area in Seraikela-Kharswan district.

The Jamshedpur police's swift action, including strategic raids, compelled the abductors to release Kairav. Superintendent of Police (City) Kumar Sivashish confirmed the successful recovery and the subsequent return of Kairav to his home around 4:30 am.

Efforts to relocate Kairav were thwarted as police intensified their search operations, leading the kidnappers to release their captive and flee. A comprehensive manhunt is underway to apprehend the culprits, while Kairav's car had earlier been discovered on National Highway-33.
