At a recent conference held in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh Congress chief Ajay Rai highlighted the critical need to safeguard the Constitution's core values and reinforce welfare legislations such as MGNREGA. Speaking at the 'Samvidhan Samvad and State-level MGNREGA Conference', Rai stressed that this is an urgent necessity today.
Rai's address underscored the Congress's commitment to advocating for the rights and employment of society's various sections, stating, 'from the streets to Parliament.' The conference saw a united stand from party leaders, including Uttar Pradesh Congress in-charge Avinash Pande, who echoed the call to protect the Constitution and the rights of MGNREGA workers.
The conference included senior party figures and district office-bearers, all pledging to defend the Constitution and public rights. This collective effort was marked by a firm stance against BJP, emphasizing that true intentions, rather than slogans, are vital for advancing democracy and individuals' dignities.
