Crime Drama: The Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Strikes Mumbai

A member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Shubham Lonkar, has been linked to a shooting incident at filmmaker Rohit Shetty's residence in Mumbai. The attack follows his alleged involvement in the killing of an NCP leader. Police are investigating the crime, which has resulted in several arrests.

Shubham Lonkar, an alleged member of the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang, has been identified by police as a wanted suspect in the recent shooting at filmmaker Rohit Shetty's Juhu residence. Five shots were fired, one damaging the building's gym glass. The attack coincides with Lonkar's alleged involvement in NCP leader Baba Siddique's murder last year.

Police indicated the shooting was intended as an assassination attempt against Shetty, who was home during the attack. So far, four individuals have been apprehended for facilitating the crime, including the provision of a scooter for the suspect. Investigations by the Mumbai Crime Branch are ongoing.

The incident has raised security concerns as police continue to probe all angles, including financing of the crime and any reconnaissance activities conducted by the accused. The main assailant remains on the run, with the police deploying multiple teams to capture him and his associates.
