The incident arose from an unpaid debt of Rs 1.5 lakh, creating fears of disruption on Atiq Tamboli's big day due to the persistent demands of Chand Tamboli, the victim.

Police revealed that Atiq, troubled by Chand's threats to disrupt the ceremony, allegedly lured him to a secluded location on Sunday night. There, Atiq is accused of bludgeoning Chand to death with a stone, leading to his abscondment. The victim's body was discovered on the outskirts of Khokarmoh village the following morning.

Through technical surveillance and local intelligence, authorities swiftly apprehended Atiq from Beed city late Monday night. He faces murder charges as the investigation continues to uncover more details surrounding this grim case.
