In a significant bust, three individuals were detained by police in Jharkhand's Bokaro district, allegedly while in possession of foreign liquor and cash amounting to Rs 18 lakh.
The suspects were apprehended near Jainamore chowk after a tip-off regarding the illicit shipment was received, leading authorities to intercept their truck.
Superintendent Harvinder Singh confirmed that an FIR has been registered under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Jharkhand Excise (Amendment) Act of 2015, with further investigations ongoing.
