Dramatic End for Notorious Contract Killer in Uttar Pradesh Encounter

A notorious contract killer met his demise in an encounter with the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force on Tuesday night. The incident unfolded on the Bariyasanpur Ring Road in Chaubepur as officers attempted to apprehend Banarasi Yadav. Yadav, the suspected murderer of fertiliser trader Mahendra Gautam, died after sustaining gunshot injuries and being rushed to a hospital, authorities confirmed.
During the encounter, law enforcement agents recovered two pistols and a significant number of cartridges from the scene. Additional Director General of Police (STF) Amitabh Yash noted that Yadav had over two dozen criminal cases on his record. A case under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the SC/ST Act was filed at the Sarnath police station in light of the recent murder.
Meanwhile, police are actively searching for another suspect, known by the aliases Arvind Yadav, Fauji, or Kallu Yadav, said to be on the run from Ghazipur district. Officers are conducting raids at potential hideouts and are pursuing further legal actions as the investigation continues.
