In a tragic incident late Saturday night, a constable was killed in Rajasthan's Pali district as a speeding truck collided with a Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) van.

The fatal accident occurred in the Transport Nagar police station area, where the FSL team had stopped for dinner while returning from a site inspection.

Constable Durgadan Charan, stationed at the police lines and hailing from Sarwadi in Balotra, was declared dead after sustaining severe injuries. The FSL team was returning from the site of a narcotics encounter when the tragedy struck.
