A devastating fire erupted at an illegal firecracker-manufacturing factory in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, resulting in the tragic deaths of seven individuals. Officials reported the incident occurred at a site leased under the guise of a garment factory but found to be manufacturing firecrackers unlawfully.
Following a routine police patrol, two individuals were rescued and are currently receiving treatment in critical condition at Delhi's Safdarjung Hospital. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has called for urgent relief measures and directed a detailed probe into the incident, while authorities are conducting safety checks across all industrial units in the area.
A forensic team has been dispatched to collect evidence, including samples of bones and burnt firecrackers. A CCTV recording inside the factory captured an explosion prior to the fire.
