The Supreme Court has rejected an appeal against the conviction of G Siddhartha Reddy, who was found guilty in the death of Telugu actress Pratyusha in 2002.

On Tuesday, the court ordered Reddy to surrender within four weeks, dismissing claims of rape and strangulation, while confirming that poisoning was the cause of death.

The case has seen several appeals and verdicts, with the Andhra Pradesh High Court reducing Reddy's sentence in 2011. Claims of foul play by Pratyusha's mother were also dismissed.
