A 22-year-old man allegedly discharged a firearm outside a woman's home in northwest Delhi's Adarsh Nagar, following a financial quarrel with her son, according to police statements released on Wednesday.
The incident prompted a PCR call to the Adarsh Nagar Police Station at approximately 10 pm. The complainant, Babita, aged 42, reported that the suspect, known as Bedu alias Pintu, arrived outside her residence at around 9.30 pm, fired a shot into the air, and quickly fled the scene.
Authorities are delving into the case's complexities, as both the accused and the complainant's son have checkered pasts. Bedu has ties to a 2022 attempted murder case, while Vikas, also known as Hip-hop, faces charges in a 2024 snatching case.
