Massive Charas Bust in Maharajganj: Police Nab Smuggler with Rs 20 Crore Haul
A man, Rakesh Yadav, was arrested with 48 kilograms of charas worth Rs 20 crore during a routine vehicle check in Parsa Malik. Police intercepted his car and found the drugs concealed in packets. Investigations are underway as another suspect managed to flee the scene.

In a significant drug bust, police arrested Rakesh Yadav in Maharajganj, seizing 48 kilograms of charas valued at Rs 20 crore. The arrest took place during a routine vehicle inspection at Parsa Malik station.
Yadav was traveling from Thuthibari to Nautanwa when authorities discovered 59 packets of the drug hidden in his car. The vehicle, with registration UP 14 BM 4248, has also been confiscated.
The accused is believed to be working for a smuggling gang, and police are intensively interrogating him. An accomplice managed to escape, and efforts are being made to bring him to justice. A case has been filed under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
