Madhya Pradesh's police training schools have begun a novel approach to instilling values in their recruits. A directive has been issued by Raja Babu Singh, Additional Director General for Police Training, mandating the recitation of the 'Dakshinamurti Stotram' at dawn.
This initiative, targeting approximately 4,000 trainees, follows earlier directives to conduct Bhagavad Gita and Ramcharitmanas sessions. Singh, a 1994-batch IPS officer, emphasizes the recitals' role in promoting empathy and professionalism among future officers.
Recently, Singh addressed students at a 'Madrasa', advocating for the reading of both the Bhagavad Gita and Quran, highlighting the text's potential to enlighten and guide righteous living.
