Crackdown on Gurugram Land Mafias: Illegal Property Demolished
In Gurugram, authorities demolished an illegal property belonging to a criminal known as Narendra alias Pawwa in an effort to tackle land mafias. The criminal had exploited land and resources illegally, with eight cases registered against him. The Crime Branch executed the demolition under a zero-tolerance policy.

Authorities in Gurugram intensified their crackdown on land mafias by demolishing an illegal office linked to criminal Narendra alias Pawwa in Budhera village. This office, valued at approximately Rs 3 crore, was constructed on 300 square yards of illicitly obtained land, police officials revealed.
Narendra, a resident of Dhanwapur village, has a criminal record with eight registered cases. Besides illegal land encroachments, he was involved in unauthorized water sales from illegally excavated borewells. These activities prompted the Crime Branch, Palam Vihar, together with the district administration, to take decisive action.
The police spokesperson emphasized that the demolition aligns with a zero-tolerance approach towards land mafias and habitual offenders. This ongoing drive aims to curb illegal activities and restore legal order in the region.
