In a daring theft over Holi festivities, unidentified thieves made away with over 500 filled LPG cylinders from a truck in Raiganj. The incident was reported by the police on Sunday.

The truck in question, managed by Neeraj Agrawal of Raiganj and associated with the Bharat Petroleum Karari depot, had initially been loaded on March 2. According to Sipri Bazar Station House Officer Jayaprakash Chaube, the truck was parked outside the depot and left unchecked until March 6.

Upon his return, truck driver Rajkumar found the vehicle missing, soon discovered abandoned without the cylinders in Baragaon on March 7. Authorities have registered a case and are actively attempting to trace the perpetrators responsible for the impressive heist.
