Double Murder Shock: Nepalese National’s Arrest Unravels Tragic Tale

A Nepalese national, Deepak Bahadur, was arrested in Delhi for allegedly killing his live-in partner and her daughter in Uttarakhand's Rudraprayag. The crime surfaced after neighbors reported a foul smell from a locked room. Bahadur fled to Delhi and was caught at New Delhi Railway Station.

Authorities in Delhi have arrested a 38-year-old Nepalese national, Deepak Bahadur, accused of the double homicide of his partner and her nine-year-old daughter in Rudraprayag, Uttarakhand. Bahadur was wanted in connection with the crimes, documented on March 7, after decomposed bodies were discovered in a rented room by local police.

The grim finding came to light when neighbors complained of a foul smell emanating from the scene. Police investigations pointed to Bahadur as a prime suspect when he was missing from the locality. Detailed probing led the police from Uttarakhand to trace him to Delhi, where he intended to board a train to Mumbai.

During his arrest, Bahadur confessed to having met the woman on social media before they began living together with her child. He claimed disputes arose due to her involvement with another individual, culminating in the tragic argument that led to the murders. His extradition to Uttarakhand is pending ongoing investigations.
