Drone Strikes Intensify in Kharkiv and Dnipro Amid Ongoing Conflict

Russian drones launched a new wave of attacks on Kharkiv and Dnipro, Ukraine, late Monday, leaving over 20 injured and causing widespread destruction. Kharkiv's mayor reported that a drone struck near a high-rise apartment, injuring seven, shattering windows, and setting vehicles alight.

Further attacks overnight injured four more in Kharkiv as a drone hit a road between buildings, according to Mayor Ihor Terekhov on Telegram. Despite being near the Russian border, Kharkiv has consistently withstood Russian advances since February 2022.

The Ukrainian air force stated that Russia deployed a total of 137 drones, 122 of which were downed. In Dnipro, 10 people, including a child, suffered injuries. Governor Oleksandr Ganzha showed images of rubble and damaged buildings, highlighting the persistent threat in urban areas.
