Anuj Agnihotri, an accomplished graduate from AIIMS Jodhpur, has emerged as the top scorer in the UPSC's Civil Services Examination 2025, securing 1,071 marks, translating to 52.88 percent. The commission disclosed individual scores on Tuesday as part of the official results announcement, released last Friday.
This year, a total of 958 candidates, including 659 men and 299 women, made it through the rigorous selection process. The examination, which is conducted annually in three phases—preliminary, main, and personality test—identifies the most qualified individuals for prestigious roles within the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, and Indian Police Service, among others.
With 867 marks in the main written exam and 204 in the personality test, Agnihotri leads by example. He is followed by Rajeshwari Suve M, an engineering graduate who scored 1,067 marks, claiming second place, and Akansh Dhull with 1,057 marks in third. The rankings showcase the exceptional talent and determination prevalent among the candidates.
