Supreme Court Grants Bail to Father in Pune Tragic Porsche Case

The Supreme Court has granted bail to Vishal Agarwal, father of the minor involved in a fatal Porsche accident in Pune. Accused of conspiracy to alter blood samples, Agarwal's bail comes after 22 months in jail. The decision follows bail being granted to other co-accused in the case.

The Supreme Court, on Tuesday, extended bail to Vishal Agarwal, the father of a minor allegedly involved in a deadly accident in Pune, where a Porsche car was driven under the influence of alcohol, killing two people.

Agarwal faces charges of conspiracy for attempting to swap the minor's blood samples to secure a 'Nil Alcohol' report. The court noted his prolonged detention of 22 months, aligning with bail statute relief extended to other accused in the same case.

Despite opposition from the Maharashtra government citing issues of parity, the court imposed strict conditions on Agarwal, prohibiting him from contacting witnesses and urging the trial court to expedite proceedings.
