A tragic road accident in the Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir resulted in the deaths of a head constable from the local police force and his wife. The incident occurred on Friday morning as the family was traveling from Bhaderwah to Bani.
The vehicle, driven by Head Constable Zulfikar Ali, skidded off the road and plunged into a stream. Both Ali and his wife, Rehana Begum, were declared dead on the scene, according to officials. Their two sons, Arshad and Kamran Ahmed, suffered injuries but are reportedly out of danger.
Union Minister Jitendra Singh expressed his condolences and assured that authorities are providing assistance to the affected family. The accident has shocked the local community, prompting widespread mourning.
