Deadly Bombing Escalates Tensions Between Afghanistan and Pakistan

The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan has reported that 143 people have died in a bombing incident at a Kabul drug rehabilitation center. This information was relayed by an official to Reuters on Wednesday.

The Afghan Taliban government, however, disputes this figure, stating that more than 400 people were killed and 265 injured in the airstrike conducted on Monday night.

Pakistan has firmly rejected the Afghan Taliban's claims, stating that it did not target the rehab center but instead aimed at military installations and terrorist support infrastructure, asserting precision in its targeting.
