Daylight Tragedy: Man Shot Dead in Sector 9

A 31-year-old man, Charanpreet, was fatally shot by two unknown assailants in a bold daylight attack in Sector 9. Occurring just a day after another shooting in the city, the attackers fled on a motorcycle. Police are investigating the incident, analyzing CCTV footage, and collecting forensic evidence.

A shocking daylight shooting occurred in Sector 9 on Wednesday, claiming the life of 31-year-old Charanpreet. According to police, the incident marks the city's second shooting in a 24-hour period.

Charanpreet was ambushed by two assailants on a motorcycle while exiting a gym. One of them shot him multiple times before fleeing the scene. Despite being rushed to a hospital, he was pronounced dead.

Authorities have cordoned off the area and are actively investigating, including analyzing CCTV footage to trace the attackers. This comes after a separate shooting incident at Panjab University, where a student leader narrowly escaped unhurt.
