An investigation is underway to determine issues related to the alleged malfunction of a hydraulic machine used by firefighters, which many eyewitnesses claim resulted in rescue delays. Locals reported that the ladder of the first hydraulic crane at the scene malfunctioned, and a second crane took nearly an hour to arrive, hindering rescue efforts.

According to local accounts, if the first hydraulic crane had functioned correctly, it could have saved lives. ''The government will not exempt anyone found responsible for these failures, and strict action will soon follow,'' stated official sources. The fire tragically claimed the lives of nine family members, including a 70-year-old woman and three young girls, on Wednesday morning in a residential building blaze in Palam.
