This ruling emerged during a hearing of a petition by Pravesh Singh Rana, who alleged illegal felling of Oak trees in a forest designated area in Mussoorie.
The court has set the next hearing for April 27, with the orders for an investigation into the matter and a halt on road expansion projects until proper permissions are secured.
