Bhojshala-Kamal Maula Mosque Dispute: Madhya Pradesh HC To Resume Hearings

The Madhya Pradesh High Court announced plans to restart regular proceedings from April 6 regarding the religious standing of the Bhojshala-Kamal Maula mosque complex located in Dhar.
Presided over by Justices Vijay Kumar Shukla and Alok Awasthi, the court intends to hear arguments from all parties in a structured order. Both Hindu and Muslim communities claim the site as sacred, with historical and archaeological inspections under intense scrutiny.
A Supreme Court order confirmed the legitimacy of the high court's continued evaluation, especially focusing on a pivotal Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) report that suggests the site's origins as a Hindu temple. Senior advocate Salman Khurshid has raised objections regarding incomplete disclosures from ASI's survey.
