Tragic Crime in Dombivali: Three Arrested for Heinous Assault

Three autorickshaw drivers were apprehended in Dombivali, Thane district, following allegations of a gangrape involving a 22-year-old woman security guard. The horrifying incident occurred on the night of March 27, according to a police statement on Thursday.
The victim reportedly knew the accused and was invited to a party in Khambalpada, where the crime took place. Upon reporting the incident, special police teams swiftly apprehended the suspects, Chetan Chauhan (20), Hemant Chauhan (22), and Umesh Verma (30), who are all autorickshaw drivers, on March 29.
The trio has been charged with gangrape under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, along with other related offenses, as confirmed by Tilak Nagar police station senior inspector Vijaykumar Kadam.
