In a shocking incident in Aatepai village, a man has been accused of killing his wife with an axe during a domestic dispute. The altercation, which reportedly stemmed from ongoing arguments over his drinking and land transfer issues, turned deadly when Nepal Singh attacked Sheelavati on Saturday.

Rahul Rathore, Station House Officer at Chirgaon police station, confirmed that the tragic event occurred around 3 PM when Singh, said to be intoxicated, fatally struck his wife. The altercation reportedly followed repeated family disputes over Singh's alcohol consumption and land transfer disagreements.

The local police were notified promptly after the attack, securing the scene and sending the victim's body for a post-mortem. A case has since been filed on behalf of the couple's son, Saurabh, as authorities continue to pursue the suspect to uncover the precise motive for the crime.
