A police sub-inspector in Nagpur faced a grave danger during his patrol when an unidentified man attacked him with a knife. This shocking incident occurred in the Kalamna area late Wednesday night, according to officials.
The attack unfolded when PSI Sachin Waklekar stopped a suspicious individual for questioning. Without warning, the suspect slashed at the officer, leaving him with a shoulder injury before fleeing on Waklekar's motorcycle.
PSI Waklekar is currently receiving treatment at Mayo Hospital, where officials report his condition is stable. Meanwhile, local police have registered a case and have initiated a comprehensive search operation to apprehend the assailant.
