A man from Bhadohi district is facing legal action after allegedly sharing an obscene video of a college student online, police revealed on Thursday. The viral video has led the 19-year-old victim to quit attending college out of distress, as confirmed by local authorities.

Identified as Sujit Kumar Mishra, the accused is from Bhamaura village in Aurai and has been charged under several legal sections, including criminal intimidation and broadcasting obscene material, following the student's complaint. Police have indicated that Mishra has been pressuring the student to marry him, resorting to threats and abuse after her refusal.
