In a tragic incident on Thursday evening, a jeep allegedly driven by BJP MLA Pritam Lodhi's son, Dinesh Lodhi, struck five individuals in Shivpuri district, according to local law enforcement.
The event unfolded around 7:30 pm under the jurisdiction of Karera police station, where the SUV, identified as a Mahindra Thar with 'MLA' signage, reportedly caused the accident.
Among the injured are friends Sanjay Parihar, Ashish Parihar, and Anshul Parihar, as well as pedestrians Sita Verma and Pooja Soni. The police have registered a case against Dinesh Lodhi for rash and negligent driving but have yet to make an arrest. MLA Pritam Lodhi emphasized the need for fair investigation and victims' justice on social media.
