In a bid to enhance public safety and build confidence, Chief Justice Sangam Kumar Sahoo of the Patna High Court underscored the importance of security through mock drills conducted by the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) of Bihar Police.
The high-level demonstration at the court premises was designed to simulate terror-related scenarios, showcasing the swift and coordinated response necessary in such situations. The drill highlighted the ATS's preparedness through real-time responses, adherence to standard operating procedures, and effective risk management.
Officials cited the exercise as crucial for bolstering inter-agency coordination and improving emergency response capabilities. The event was attended by notable dignitaries, including Justice Rajeev Ranjan Prasad and Additional Director General of Police, Pankaj Kumar Darad.
