Union minister Jitendra Singh called on marginalized communities to explore entrepreneurship beyond government jobs, urging them to capitalize on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's schemes for sustainable growth. Launching the Jammu and Kashmir chapter of the Ambedkar Chamber of Commerce, Singh emphasized fostering an entrepreneurial mindset, especially among Scheduled Castes and weaker sections.

He praised government initiatives like the Jan Dhan and MUDRA schemes for financial inclusion and credit access, along with the Vishwakarma Yojana to preserve traditional crafts. These initiatives, Singh argued, have led to socio-economic advancements, reflected in the rising aspirations and achievements of marginalized groups, including success in competitive exams.

Highlighting regional efforts, Singh mentioned substantial subsidies distributed in Udhampur's khadi promotion camps and urged increased awareness of such opportunities. He concluded by emphasizing the importance of welfare schemes in promoting self-reliance and empowering underprivileged communities.
