Major Drug Bust at Indo-Nepal Border: Smuggler Arrested
A joint operation by the Anti-Narcotics Task Force and the police led to the arrest of Ismail, an alleged drug smuggler, along the Indo-Nepal border. Authorities seized 6.77 kg of charas worth approximately Rs 1.50 crore. A case has been filed under the NDPS Act for further legal action.

A collaborative operation by the Anti-Narcotics Task Force and the police resulted in the apprehension of a suspected drug smuggler on Sunday along the Indo-Nepal border.
The accused, Ismail, was found with 6.77 kg of charas, valued at around Rs 1.50 crore, according to Bahraich Superintendent of Police Vishwajeet Srivastava.
The operation followed a tip-off about Ismail's involvement in smuggling narcotics from Nepal to India. The ANTF and police detained Ismail at a mobile repair shop and discovered the charas. Authorities have filed charges under the NDPS Act for further investigation.
