In the wake of a devastating road accident, Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor Manoj Sinha visited the Government Medical College hospital in Udhampur on Monday. His visit aimed to enquire about the condition of individuals injured in the tragic accident that occurred in the hilly Ramnagar area, a Lok Bhavan spokesperson confirmed.

The accident, which happened on April 20, saw an overcrowded passenger bus plummet nearly 100 meters down a hillside, resulting in the loss of at least 21 lives and injuries to 51 others. It has sparked a wave of concern and prompted immediate attention from the region's leadership.

Sinha received a briefing from senior doctors on the health status of those injured, emphasizing the necessity of administering the best possible medical care to facilitate their swift recovery. The hospital administration was directed to prioritize the needs of the victims to ensure their quick recuperation.
