The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, has launched a rigorous campaign against drug trafficking, equating it to terrorism. Under his leadership, 440 arrests have been made, and 350 FIRs filed in the last 20 days as part of the 100-day 'Nasha Mukt J-K Abhiyan'.

Sinha described drug abuse as 'silent terrorism', highlighting its destructive impact on youths, families, and society. He stressed on public participation to fight this menace and committed to dismantling networks that facilitate the spread of narcotics.

He called for a collective government and societal effort in the remaining 80 days of the campaign, seeking collaboration with educational institutions, social organizations, and the media. Sinha urged citizens to be proactive, aiming for a drug-free Jammu and Kashmir.
