Sona BLW Precision Forgings, known as Sona Comstar, announced a robust 17% increase in profit after tax, amounting to Rs 192 crore for the quarter ending March.
The surge in profit was matched by a 47% jump in revenue, reaching Rs 1,272.30 crore, primarily driven by significant expansions in electric vehicle (EV) technology and railway product lines.
Sona Comstar's successful quarter included securing major contracts in Europe, marking its first EV program win there in nearly four years, alongside launching new hybrid and railway products, signaling an optimistic future outlook.
